Privacy Policy

Options Workbench is built so that we collect as close to nothing about you as possible. The short version: there are no accounts, no signup, no tracking pixels, and any market data you paste into the calibration panel stays in your browser.

What we collect

Nothing personally identifying. We do not require you to register, sign in, or provide any contact information to use the site.

We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count aggregate page views and understand which features visitors use. Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless, does not use fingerprinting, does not track visitors across sites, and does not collect IP addresses for storage (Cloudflare uses them only momentarily for spam filtering and discards them). If we enable it, we will see counts and country/region aggregates, but not who you are or what you typed.

What stays in your browser

When you paste a contract code, stock price, or option price into the calibration panel, all parsing and computation happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. None of those values leave your device. We have no record of which tickers, strikes, expiries, or prices any visitor has entered. The only network requests the deployed app makes are loading our own static assets (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, the yield-curve JSON file).

Cookies

The site does not set any cookies for tracking, advertising, or analytics. If we add a service in the future that requires cookies (for example, display advertising), we will update this policy and, where required by law, present a cookie-consent banner before any non-essential cookies are set.

Third-party services

Children

Options Workbench is intended for an adult audience interested in options pricing. The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personally identifiable information, there is no account or profile to access, correct, or delete. If you live in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California and have a question about your privacy under GDPR, UK-GDPR, or the CCPA, you can contact us at the email below.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change what we collect or how it is used, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. For substantive changes (for example, enabling advertising or analytics that involves cookies), we will surface a notice in the application before the change takes effect.
