Terms of Service

By using Options Workbench, you agree to the terms below. They are short because the site is simple — we provide a free pricing tool, you use it at your own risk.

Use of the service

You may use Options Workbench for personal, educational, and professional purposes, free of charge, with no signup or account required. You agree not to:

No investment advice

The site provides theoretical option prices and Greeks for educational purposes. It is not investment advice and does not create an investment-adviser relationship between you and the operator. See our Disclaimer for details, including the separation between this site and any advisory business the operator may conduct elsewhere.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any number it produces is accurate or current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Options Workbench, its operator, and any contributors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including without limitation lost profits, lost trading opportunities, or trading losses — arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Because the service is free, our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Intellectual property

The Options Workbench name, design, and the source code of the site are © 2026 the operator. The pricing models and mathematical formulas themselves (Black-Scholes, Cox-Ross-Rubinstein, etc.) are public-domain mathematical results and are not claimed by us. Yield-curve data is from FRED (U.S. public-domain government data).

Modifications and termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service (or any part of it) at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms; material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, surfaced in the application before they take effect. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, U.S.A., without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Alabama, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
